Ivan Drago (a.k.a Dolph Lungren)

As we all (should) know by now, I like to have a bit of laugh and not take too much seriously.

So..........

I was googling "James Reyne" the other day in one of my periods of complete boredom, and stumbled upon this website.

http://trevorsplace.wordpress.com/2009/08/14/bloody-aussie-legend-series-by-trevor-featuring-james-reyne/

It tickled my funnybone, and I hope it does likewise for all my fellow forumsters.

Enjoy.

(Come to think of it, I don't believe I've seen James and Dolph Lungren in the same room together)

P.S. Please ignore the dribble that's underneath.

Huh, quite disturbing this internet and the obscure sites you can find eh Wrangler,

My only comment would be, that clearly people have far too much times on their hands....

But well spotted Wrangler..

Re: Ivan Drago (a.k.a Dolph Lungren)

Clearly, I am one of those people with too much time on my hands, Happy.

Might I also add that the juxtaposition of Ivan Drago and Dolph Lungren is deliberately intended? I mean other than Rocky IV, does anybody remember what other films Lungren actually "starred" in?

Nope. Neither can I.

One observation. Whilst Dolph's mullett is hirsute and powerful looking, nothing beats James' "Yogi Bear" from that HGFM still shot from circa 1980. Even "Farnsey's" hair do from the mid-to-late 80's doesn't come close in my opinion.

I can imagine Larina 'swooning' from the caption HGFM, with the added bonus of a photo of JR to boot, as I type this.

Tell me I'm wrong, please  Grin

Ken Oath and too bloody right, cobber.

Welcome aboard our humble little forum, Trevor.

How by chance, did you discover the place where us 'disciples' pay homage to The Great One?

And, like you, I really have NFI as to who Ivan and Dolph are either.

(I did read, however, that The Governator, Sly and Dolph are planning to film a 'high action flick' in 2010 - now, that's a surprise! Wonder if it will come with subtitles? Better still, will the 'plot' - there's another laugh - involve The Terminator fighting both Rocky/Rambo, and Ivan to the mother of all battles. Sadly, the masses will pay in their thousands to watch such dribble. The mind boggles.)

Ever since "Trouble Spot Rock" I had my suspicions that James was a "Universal Soldier"...

By the way, a "BA-DUM TISH" is required at the end of both myself and BMac's jokes.
